Battery drain

I have a 97 XLT. When I don't drive for more than 3 or 4 days, the battery drains flat.
I have determined that the problem can be prevented by removing the radio fuse, and there is no battery drain. All I have to do is put the fuse back in when I'm driving regularly and it's fine. It is a bit of a pain to worry about removing the fuse and any suggestions about possible causes/fixes would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with my 98 XLT. I am going to try the "radio fix" noted in this forum as the lights in the radio/cd come on and off intermittently and the volume control is weird.

Thanks for the feedback. I may end up trying the radio fix as well.
