1999 daewoo nubira control arm

can anyone tell me how to remove the lower control arm from my 1999 daewoo nubira. I am having a problem finding out how to remove the part of the control arm that attaches to the underbody of the car. I even removed the passenger compartment rug to get at it. did not have any luck
