ignition switch and fuel pump fuse hot side

I see a lot of posts with crank, no start. I have the same problem and I like many have replaced a bunch of parts unnecessarily with no luck. Finally I smartened up and decided to follow the wires carefully.
I have continuity between the black/pink wire that runs from the fuse panel to the fuel pump relay (the fuel pump will only run with the prime wire). I have no power at the injectors either. There is no power at the hot side of that (FP) fuse either. I put a test light on the large pink wire (Hot side FP) and get nothing with the key in any position including start. I believe that large pink feed wire comes from the ignition switch. Is that the case? I get continuity from there (ignition switch pink wire) to the fuse panel pink wire at the fuel pump fuse. WHen I crank the car and probe that wire at the ignition switch I get nothing.
Does that pink wire from the ignition switch feed the FP fuse? Do i need a new ignition switch? Am I missing anything?
