So we all know were the runts of the group when it comes to aftermarket headlights, so i have 2 questions. 1. Does anyone have any new info on companies that might make them, ive been looking and still cant find much, and 2. has anyone ever tried to trim out enough space to fit headlights form another model/what modles have the closest fitment? Ive been looking at what it would take to put some like my friend has on his civic. All input is great.

try emailing, procarparts.com, i tried myself but never got a response. They make alot of products, and if alot of people start asking, they will give-in to demand.
As far as headlights go, you could to the 92-95 civic swap front end. Giving you a bigger range of bumper choices as well. You just have to cut out the radiator support, i believe and weld in a new one.

any headlight conversion (putting another model car's lights on) is gonna require cutting out your radiator support and putting the other car's on... and that's the minimum amount of work involved. you usually also have to chop/weld fenders, adjust hood mounts/hinge points... it's a pain, especially if you don't know what you're doing. Look into eyelids for headlights, which will make them look more angular, or possibly find a set of headlights off of ebay/a junk car and use those to make a set of projectors. That's about all we get.

^^nicely done conversion, ugly as HELL front bumper... I wish they woulda used a stock S2k front bumper with a lip on it... woulda been SO damn hot. But instead they use one of the ugliest sol kits around... damn... blitz kit is for eclipses and eclipses only!

Yea it could have been done better, but anyway, my a/c leak? never had one, had a coolant system problem but thats squared away. Ok my fiend has a 6th gen civic and he gave me his stock headlights for free to test fitment. The are relitivly the same shape as the sols, but bigger. Id need to trim the sapce needed from the bumper, fender, and hood. im not 100% sure tho. Anyone else think some 6th gen lights look like a good fit?

I seriously doubt any company will pick up the opportunity to manufacture aftermarket headlights for the Del Sol. The demand just isn't high enough for anyone to make a real profit from it and to justify the R&D cost associated with producing a new design.
Just stick with the OEM or JDM headlights. They do alright.
