bov recirculation

when you recirculate the bov, does that have any effect on the sound? i dont wanna make this sound like im a ricer, its just that i want the bov to work the best, but still have it loud

Yes, it makes things more muffled. Your bov can still be loud, but there is a plastic or metal barrier between you and the origin of the sound (in addition to the hood, of course) when you recirculate the bov charge into the intake pipe. Trust me, if you get a hard intake pipe and a greddy type s, or even a 1g bov recirculated, you'll still hear it plenty loud.

You need to recirculate your bov for your car to run right, unless you spend $300 on a GM MAF/translator setup. Period. Do a search here or on DSMtuners and you will get all of the info you need.

Turbo your RS and you won't have to Recirculate... Its frickin loud, even on 5 pounds. Crazy. I hate too loud... haha

Going to take the easy way out huh? :D I wish I could off done that but they don't sell damn eclipse cars in Canada besides the new v6 ones!

its gonna be real hard to find a gst/x around here. there are only spyder gst's around me, and i dont want a convertable since it is ALWAYS raining here, and there is only 1 gsx, which is a 95 with like 160k miles on it and heavily modded. so, im gonna keep lookin lol

keep looking if you have to for MONTHS. kinda wish I got a GSX instead of the gst i have now, but hey, it was a damn good deal w/ 49k. Good luck and hope you find a gsx.
