Standard CD player

My mx-6 came with the factory cassette radio along with the factory cd player. Recently, the cd player lost all power but the radio/cassette still works. I don't know how to get the cd player out of hte dash nor do I know how to fix it. Any suggestions would be appriciated. Thank you, kate.
