Supercharger Question

I have a 2002 Tahoe, 5.3L. I am installing a Powerdyne S/C this week. I have the Predator tuning tool to go with it. I was wondering if anybody else out there has a 5.3 and has done this already? Did it make a big difference? Would you recommend going to a 9-psi pulley as opposed to the stock 6-psi pulley? Is engine/impeller damage a concern? It already has a cat back exhaust (40 series Flowmaster) and a high flow air intake (K&N style). It's my daily driver, but sometime I want it to get up and go.

put powerdyne on 2000 5.3 silverado, lasted 15k and locked up, truck got up and went after 2g on tack, would recommend sending it back and paying the extra money for the magna charger radix

I don't notice any extra getty-up until about 3200 rpm, then at 5K rpm the belt squeals like a pig and I lose power until it shifts and gets back over 3K again. I've tightened the belt as much as I can but did notice a little grease or oil on the underside of the belt, hopefullt I'm not seeping oil from the crank. Not really impressed with this powerdyne. Mabye a Tahoe is just too heavy. I am running th e stock 6 psi pulley and am flirting witht he idea of getting the 9 psi pulley to see if I can get some more low RPM power (figure it will make more boost at less RPM so I should feel it sooner?) Anybody put a Crane Cam in there 5.3 Chevy? Make a diiference? I'm trying to get this heavy beast off the line with some authority as of now I'm not satisfied. What type of charger is the Magna Radix? A twin screw? Do you have one and does it work well?

i love it, it puts the powerdyne to shame, truck gets up and goes right off the line, my truck has a 6" lift and 315 tires see gallery

this supercharger assembly replaces the whole intake manifold, it is also designed for daily driving

How much did you end up spending on the Magna Radix? I'm looking into it but it sounds like $5000 investment with the dyno tuning etc...Did you buy from an authorized dealer and have them install it or did you buy it somewhere else?
