X3 Nightmare Conclusion

Well, my X3 nightmare is FINALLY over. After 3,000 problem filled, more than annoying miles, legal action, an arbitration filed with the state of California, a grand total of 47 days in the shop, BMW and my selling dealer FINALLY caved and refunded my downpayment and took that P.O.S back. In protest, I private party sold my X5 4.4i. <Sigh> After 9 BMW's I can honestly say that I will NEVER buy another one.

I replaced my other half's X3 with an Audi A4 (might be even more problematic than the X3 but he wanted it, it's his problem) and I'm still undecided so driving the Jeep around 'til I decide.

I truly hope those of you with touchy X3's that have posted threads that I've replied to have better luck. If you run into similar issues, let me know, I have all my documentation, copies of letters, addresses, contact names and numbers at BMW USA, etc. I'd be more than happy to share them with those that need them.

Good Luck!
