A couple of my projects

Hey folks,
I lurk around here regularly, constantly floored by the quality of models being put together. So I figure I'd show that I am actually working on a couple of kits. I never post any pics simply because I don't have a digital camera (Santa better be listening). But I do have a cell phone, so here they are. Sorry for the quality, but hey, it is a cell phone.
First up are my F-1 kits. In the foreground is a Tamiya MP4/5B. Believe it or not, it's on its second coat of primer waiting to be wet sanded before it gets white. In the background is a Studio 27 Ferrari F2002 in the process of having it's first coat of primer wet sanded. And finally, that lump in front of the Spawn figurine is a Revell Williams FW23 undergoing a lot of modification and body prep.

And here's a pic of my Fujimi Enthusiast Ferrari 288 GTO. I just cracked the box last night, so it's just going through initial sanding and planning.

When I do get a digital camera, I'll post more regular updates on each subject seperately.

It's 1/25th. Why Revell continues with this scale is beyond me..but hey.
Here's the description from e-hobbies.
By far, the most talked about car of the 2003 auto shows was the 2005 Mustang concept. Ford has hinted that the next generation Mustang will have styling that will recall Mustangs of the past. However it turns out, Revell staff will have all-access passes into the styling studio and will produce the most accurate next-generation pony out there. Features: All new tooling, detailed Ford modular V8 engine, and accurate graphics. Plastic cement and paint are required for assembly, and are sold separately.

Revell will learn as soon as their #1 market - Muscle car and Hot Rod guys who buy their 32 Deuce Coupe, 69 Camaro, and 67 GTX in BULK - stop bitching whenever a new kit is released in 1:24th scale.
Remember who Revell caters to first. The import, racing (save for NASCAR) , light commercial, and vintage modelers all play second fiddle to hot rodders and muscle car guys at Revell because the muscle car guys, hot rodders, and NASCAR guys have paid the bills since the late 70's.
