Hey this been worrying me since i first noticed it but my oil goes above the half mark when i start the car. After school that day i went home and checked the coolant and it was totaly empty 0_0 (i just refilt it a month ago after i bought the car). well anyways i refill half way cause my dad said so (why not fill it up fully?) and yeah.. everytime i start my car the oil temp shows it above middle. if u guys dont understand lets say the oil temp has 5 bars, at bar3 it should be in the middle... when i start my car its at bar4. my friend says its not good, but wtf? change the oil again?

when liquid is cold, it is more viscous. Your oil pressure SHOULD be higher when the car is cold. That's normal. Your coolant problem is another issue. Fill it to the FULL mark on the coolant reservoir.

The temperature on a really cold day when you drive fast it would be ok if it goes down just a little bit. if you bough the colder version theromostat. As for the coolant going down you might have a leak somewhere but it dosent fall on the ground but just drys up.

ok thanks guys but i got 1 more question..
my coolant container has 2 tubes. 1 tube connects to something but the other is not connected.. it just sticks down pointing to the ground. Is this correct? Il post pics if u guys dont get what im talking about cause its pretty wierd.

Don't worry about it, man--that's the coolant overflow tube. If your car overheats, the coolant in the reservoir can boil, and instead of building pressure until the bottle explodes or the cap comes flying off, getting coolant all over your engine compartment, it just runs out through that hose down under the car.
Just leave it where it is, with an unobstructed path toward the ground.
