have you tried contacting the place you bought it from for english instructions?
or, since you live in hawaii, find a friend who can read japanese and get a translation?
just a couple of thoughts...
and about the nickname? blow me, pickup boy ;)

i got the gauges off of ebay and the weird thing is that they were both from the same guy, but the oil pressure had japanese, and the boost had english, so im sure that the guy wont be very accomodating about giving me english instructions.
tried to read the japanese with a friend of mine, but we know know only basic japanese.
about the nickname... dont even have the tacoma anymore... just too lazy to change the sn :)

I'm pretty sure you gotta tap the oil pan and screw the sensor into it..

Try calling a local performance shop and asking them the basic info on how oil pressure sensors are installed... they might be able to give you some generic info that'll make it easier for you.
good luck.
good luck.

just make sure you do it right the first time or else, you will regret it later and have to go around doing the whole thing over again.
