Need a Engine

Does Anyone have or know anyone that is sellin a wrecked car with a good engine or - selling just the engine that with fit in a 97 cav... only good engine wanted - i dont your piece of shit that u swapped outa ur car cause the engine is slow an runs like shit - :nono:

no engines with broken rods - blown heads or cracked blocks - - i am tryin to find someone i know a good engine..

There are two sites I recommend. www.cherry-auto.com and www.carparts.com. Cherry auto will find the type and size engine you want. They sell engines that are either grade A or Grade B. Their site will explain. Carpart.com is for local wrecking yards that should be able to help you find an engine at a reasonable price.

GTP you have a grand prix i am guessing? do you know any good low cost hook ups for a 98 se with the 3.8 its my girlfriends car an i was wanting to hook it up but i dont even know where i would begin to look.

what do u need along with the motor. i have a 96 2.2 motor in my cavi that im trying to get rid of.. if you still need it and need anything else let me know. the motor has 148xxx miles on it and it was still running good before i crashed. i am located in Ny. there is no damage to the motor as far as i know but i will take a closer look at it tomm.

i would need the harness as well - cause the 97 cavy has a 2.4 - but she blew her motor-

according to mapquest im about 1 hour from port jervis. how much are you willing to spend... maybe like $200 or so with the harness

is the trans 5spd? if so that would be excellent - $200 would be fair - cause i work for a guy that owns a tow-wrecker-an repo busyness - we usually sell motors an the harness for bout 200-250 depending on the engine an car its in an how many miles are on - but with 145k that would be a solid price as far as i am concerned--- let me know about the tran if its a/t or m/t i will get back to u -

what did ya crash into btw ? an u say the engine is all sound nothing cracked - broke or snapped on it?

im not really in a hurry but the only thing is that i cant let it run too long because the radiator is broken. the motor is still in the car also so it should start right up. i rearended an expedition. i didnt see anything wrong with it so it should run. ill try that when i get home. im from Patterson, Ny.

the motor starts up and runs. i just cant leave it on because there is no radiator but it starts up without a problem. let me know...

nah sorry - i been busy lately - an her engine after all this is a 2.4 an she didnt tell me an i never had time to go over an look at it - so swapping from a 2.4 to a 2.2 in this new of a car would be a pain in the ass - you can ask anyone that has done a few swaps in their time... i personally think it would be a problem. cause of the mounts/ecu/wiring/ect.... i would need all of that plus...
