Hi there,
As a lowly marketing intern, I'm trying to do research for a major tire co. looking for a hip, sweet, & totally cool GWP (that means Gift with Purchase) for you guys that love to work on cars!
Doesn't have to be "tire" related - just something that you would use to work on your car.
If I come up with a KILLER idea, I've got a job for life!
Can you tell me what's the best gadget, tool, or aide that you have or would like to have?
($75 retail value)
Thanks so much in advance for your help.

sorry, that term must be yet another New Zealand expression that doesn't compute into American English!I'm not sure if it's available in the States, but for a fixed fee the Automobile Association of N.Z.(usually known as 'THE A.A.') will come out and provide roadside assistance if you are unlucky enough to have a breakdown,a flat battery, lock your keys in your car etc......If you are entirely helpless, they will even fit your spare tire for you in the event of a puncture!)

A couple good sets of pliers and maybe vice-grips. Something else that might be a good idea, is one of those 12V emergency air compressors. They can be relitivly inexpensive, and are very handy to have.

Hmmm, what about a gift tool bag filled with:
-assorted wreches (about 5 of them)
-a small socket set
-screwdrivers (both phillips & flathead and about 5 of those)
-a mini Maglite
-assorted fuses with a fuse tester/puller
-assorted nuts, bolts, washers
-a 5-pack of red shop towels
-a roll of shop towels (the blue paper towel roll)
-an oil filter wrech
-set of 5 hose clamps
Does that sound cool? :)
