ok, I found this '73 charger for sale and I think it might be just what I have been looking for, a muscle car that I can restore (particuarly I want to have an excuse to rebuild the engine to learn everything about it and stuff) but it can't cost to much to aquire. so here's the link: http://www.hemmings.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/classifieds.cardetail/id/2160476
but before I bought it i just wanted to make sure that I am not getting in over my head if i buy this car, ie there's nothing wrong with this car thats gonna cost me more than its worth to fix it. the guy also sent me the only pic he had, its not very good but here it ishttp://g.myspace.com/00034/60/36/34506306_l.jpg

It doesn't look like it has a motor in it.

no it doesn't have an engine in it, but even if it did i would have liked to take it out and rebuild it for learning purposes and probably to put a lil more high performance parts in it too so the only problem i can see would be getting it back to my house

Well how do we know if it's worth it? All you show is a picture of a car with no engine, and no price. What do you want to hear?

I have $8000 from a savings account but it looks like that car was sold or already because the add isn't there anymore, oh well I can keep looking for something a lil better, no need to rush anyway

Damn, that has a bulge hood?!! Those are very desirable! Also, the 3rd gen Chargers are the most numerous, so, I bet you find another one.

Would that be a Charger from Chrysler Australia? If so, it's Valiant based with a A- or LA-series small-block engine, or maybe the Australian Hemi Slant Six...

No. That would be a 3rd generation AMERICAN Charger.
