91 S10 Blazer 4.3 took some advice from another 91 owner and got one
the guy at autozone told me to go with 10 not 14 for clearance reasons because it is 12.5 wide and 2 high he said that the 14 is like 5 opening so not enough clearance well i got the 10 and its very very nice but it is loose like it rotates around in a circle if you touch it
how do you make it tight or is it made that way and i had a preheater hose on the old one and now have this opening on the engine is there a way to cap that any info let me know

i wonder if those generic air filters....are up to the same specs as a K&n.....
thats what id be concerned about.....
also........intakes are nice....iv got a custom.. full chrome pipe... from plenum to a K&n filter off ebay for 75$
they sound pretty good....but the 4.3 doesnt rev high or fast enough to really make them really scream like other v6 engines.....as it shouldnt being 2 cylinders short of a 350 :P
as for stopping it from spining....some silacon sealent should do the trick
if i get what you mean about spinning.
well good luck with your intake..happy trails
