I've said it before, my truck is cursed.

Well, all the work and money that i've put into this truck this month was a total waste. Totalled the MF today. Damned BFI dump truck pulled out in front of me and I slammed into him. It was his fault, and I've got 2 witnesses siding with me and the BFI driver has none. I know I'm going to end up getting another truck, but I don't want another one. I don't think that it was totalled damage-wise, but the airbag went off and that's an automatic total as far as the insurance is concerned. The driver's side front was smashed, the grill was totally gone, the plastic on the bumper was gone, and my door wouldn't open all the way.

Yep sure does. It's the 3rd time this truck has been wrecked (first by me). I guess I'll get a new truck out of it. Or get this one fixed. Hopefully soon.

Well, good luck. At least you don't have to worry about the TPS or any engine fuses for awhile.

Well I got some good news, and some bad news. The good news is that the police report said that the accident was the other guys fault, and everyone pretty much knows what that means. The bad news is that my truck is totalled (the insurance people haven't looked at it, but i went up to the towing company to get some stuff out of my truck and to take some pics and the whole body is offset on the frame. I'll post the pics tomorrow). But even thought I don't own a Ram any more, i'll still visit this forum. Hopefully, i'll get another Ram.

Oh man, sorry to hear that. Glad you're ok. Time to start the new vehicle search.
Hey, look on the bright side - you'll be posting a new avatar picture before Bleed does. :D

Oh yeah - after the other insurance company makes their offer to pay for the truck, tell them that's too low, and show them all the receipts for the parts you've put on in the last couple of months. The price they'll offer is somewhat negotiable.

You're welcome. They'll throw money at it usually. I used to work for geico insurance so know a bit about how it all works....
Good luck, make sure you get good blue book plus your repairs.
