service cost

I just took my 2000 323 in for it's 60,000 checkup ($590) and they said my drive belts were cracked ($245) and my power steering hose was leaking ($206). Are these reasonable costs? This is my first car and have nothing to compare against.

Well for 2 belts which you coulda got at a auto parts store for 30$ and below you most likely just paid for labor. What did they charge you about 1-2 hours for the belts and 3-5 hours for the PS pump?

Inspection 1's range from 300-600$
Inspection 2's: 800-1000$
