Are the factory winter grill and bumper covers worth the trouble to put on? I have the Duramax and found the cover stashed away and was debating on whether or not to put it on.

I have had the grill cover on and off all winter. It took about 10 minutes the first time to put it on. Needed only a screwdriver. Once you have the metal hooks pre-bent it installs and uninstalls in less than a minute. I left the bumper cover on and only removed the grill cover when it got near or above freezing. Note, the Outdoor Temp display will be wrong with the cover on, but it does show you how much it helps keep the cold air out.
