Audi TT in progress

Hi Guys!

Im new here... Im from Estonia(ring any bells?) im 17. I have been modifying die casts for a month. I have completed a 1/24 VW Golf and almoust finished a Range Rover. This is my new Project:

Welly Audi TT 1/24
Done:
Scissor doors

Plans:
New rims
Wing
Bodykit
Clean look
New seats
Working sound maybe
Mono wiper
Lexus style tailights
Engine tuning
Some little things more

Working sound is made of little speakers... you can take them from old cd players etc. I dont really know if i will make the sound to this car, but i have made a db drag carb from my Range Rover, i will make a new thread for it... Thanks I didnt know that they are butterfly doors...

OK anyway today i removed the hinges of the door, because they were too ugly and i couldnt put the windshield on because of them :D i will put the hinges different...

I think so, yes...

So I started with my front spoiler....
at first i cutted holes into the metal... as you can see on the pics on the last page, the front is made of metal completely, no holes...
then i made pieces of plastic, and glued them on.... some putty... and here is the result... I have a lot of work to do :D

Dude that BK is waaay too low. It looks ricey now. Bring it up a litte or you'll ruin the bauhaus styling of the whole thing.

Since you just started this project, how about you re-work that front bumper a little bit to give it a true Audi race look

No, the shape is good, its just too close to the ground. Rework what you have, bring it up a little bit and you'll be fine. Its just too close to the ground right now.

OK, i made it better now... but what di you think about the wing, will i put it there? Btw I painted the legs and the middle parts of the wing grey...

I think the Wing looks awesome! it matches the wing (sortof) in the Audi in the racing pics!

i think it looks cool, jsut a little too Japaneseish.

Thanks... I am switching to lambo doors right now... butterfly doors were meaner, but they had too big hinges...

Still think the front kit is a little too much but the rear looks pretty good.

Just f.y.i. Seeing as how you have such a huge body kit and a low ride hieght due to the kit, your going to need some big wheels to get a good look out of it....

No they arent... This is 1/24 scale

you should lower the car before making the bodykit.
