t-5 swap success

having finished my conversion and driven the car quite a bit, i'd say it's an entirely new car... the difference in acceleration is insane. it used to take forever for my car to reach the shift point (5500) with the AOD, it felt really dragged out. now it gets there in no time. and now that the 2nd gear synchro is doing its job better, i can shift quickly enough to grab 2nd. all i can say is wow. if anybody else is thinking about doing this i say don't hesitate. it's worth all the blood, sweat, tears, and cussing.

now if i could just get the clutch cable a hair tighter, it would be real close to perfect. i'll hold off till my firewall adjuster arrives, as i'm not gonna crawl under that car again for a while if i can avoid it.
