Remote entry problem

Just had my wiper problem fixed on my 97 528i...now the remote only unlocks the dorrs and trunk...the remote will not lock the doors...the onlt way to loock the doors is manually with the key...Can anyone out there over some advice....Please and Thank-You.

I'm having the same exact problem with my 98 528i

Try this:

1: Remove the battery from key.
2: Insert key to ignition.
3: Turn to position 2 (30-60 seconds).
4: Install fresh battery

That should work...
