Hey I just got the Greddy Profec B-spec 2 i wanted to know if any one knows how I should set the "Gain" and the "Start Boost" I have a sr20det and I want to be around 15psi. When I set the controller it will go up to 15 but then drops off??? Or will not go all the way up to 15, or will just go past it and then back down??? I can’t get a steady boost. I can't get it right let me know if you can help?
Thanks

ummm, what are you running on your car? i thought the most boost you can run on pump gas is like 14.7psi or something, i dont have turbo so im not sure but...try to set it at like 13 and see how reliable the boost it...sry if this doesnt help im just guessing here..

Ive heard of the Profec Spec-II having boost spike issues and that may be what your picking up

You set the boost at whatever you want and then set the gain to where the solenoid stays closed for as long as possible without the boost spiking.

are you running the stock turbo?

from what i've been told it doesn't work to well past around 10psi, i'm not exactly sure but that may contribute to the problem

A stock S13 SR turbo is effective up to about 13-14 psi.

I just wanted to know how to set the Gain, Set Gain, and the Boost PSI.
I can lower the boost down but i have been told that the car runs good at 15PSI on pump gas And stock turbo.

yes, but it doesn't hold it.

t25's will only hold 11.5 lbs at redline. the problem isn't with your boost controller, the problem is your tiny turbo. look at the dyno in my sig, and notice how the tq drops off up high. tq is a direct relation to boost.
