Electrical Problem

I have a 1996 Honda Civic that I had an engine put in recently. it seems that I have a grounding problem. Everytime it rains something quiclky drians the battery. Any help greatly appreciated. Alternator good/Had it tested. New Battery, recent rotor / wires.

Check the main ~6 inch ground wire coming off the negative terminal to the chassis. Take it off the chassis, wire brush that area really clean and reattach it. If you think it's the actual terminals getting wet and shorting out you could try covering them with something jimmy-rigged like coating them with rubber cement..?
