Several months ago I was in a cold climate and started my car for perhaps its first time in 30 degree weather. The engine started very rough. I really didn't notice much of a problem after that. Fast forward two, three months. I was having a low end vibration at the front right of the vehicle. This vibration was noticeable on startup (no matter the weather) but subsided after it ran for a while. I also noticed the noise increased in severity when I turned the vehicle right. So I did a little experiment and the noise went away dramatically when I went around the corner out of gear. When the vehicle was in gear and I was going around the corner the noise was greater. It was especially greater when I accelerated around the corner. I also experience the noise when I am on the freeway going straight and there are undulations in the road that shocks would normally absorb.
okay, I'm getting there...
I took the car in to the shop. They replaced some sort of bearing (actually the whole axle) in the front axle that was bad and that they thought was the culprit. Well nothing has changed and the shop is now scratching their heads . Any thoughts?

well one your mechanics are dumbasses b/c if you told them about it being louder going around a corner in gear its louder and how much louder it is going straight in the freeway its OBVIOUSLY NOT YOUR SUSPENSION!!!! lmfao they're stupid...it has to be something with you engine i would hook it up to diagnostics machine and see if it is reading any codes..if it isnt...maybe your crankshaft is unbalanced...theres alot of things that can cause engine vibration but start with the diagnostic test
