Service Manual

What would be the best service manual to own and where could I get it? I found a Haynes manual but it seemed to have everything except a Caprice. Any suggestions would be great.

Haynes tells you just enough info to get you into a LOT of trouble that you can't get out of.
Get the factory manual from Helm. You might be able to source one on eBay, or you could order it direct from Helm.
On the rare occasion I couldn't fix a problem, the dealer was very grateful to "borrow" mine.

Thanx Tommy, I'll stay away from Haynes!! I will definitely look into the manual from Helm.

Don't let the small print and thickness scare you, it's actually very thorough. It's not cheap, but you'll like the info.

Thanks CD. I tried the link but unfortunately they were outta stock. Looks like I might have to pay full price for a new one unless I can track one down for cheaper.

I bought one for about 175.00 CAD (for a monte ss) and used all the time! I never regreted buying it for a second!
