think i just wasted $200

well its my own fault, i have a 91 probe gt (turbo) so i said hey why not put in a blow off valve.. become a ricer what is the big deal.. so i installed a hks ssqv.. that think is crazy loud.. im kinda upset at how loud it is.. man i should of gotten a greddy type-s.. this whistle is way to loud.. it freaking echos off the building in nyc.. i think im ither gona the a re-circulation kit or the purple insert that should quite things now.. i should of left my stock by pass and behappy with my little "wooshhh"...

but its still fun to have a loud whistle when ever you let off the gass..

well as we've been bugging you for a while, a recirculation kit is the proper aproach for a MAF equiped car anyway. So IMO its all for the better.:)

hehe i got stares already. i just scared off a 90 supra.. he had nice blue lights and rims.. he heard me blow off and he creep up side by side.. so i let him get up a little and then steped on it and got to his window and let off.. he heard it agian i waited for him to attempt it again so i could gass it and attempt to race.. but he didnt i guess the small back fire + bov keep him quiet.. he stod behind me all the way home then when i turn i hear him gun it.. damm guy..

hehe i was already spoken for.. btw my ford does mid 14's not to bad for a car that running a sohc and is almost 15yr old.. can you car do that.. but i dont want this to be a flaming war.. i just giving you a update on the progression of the car.. if any one cares.. i know some of you think its cool that im moding a probe and some thing its just a waste of time.. it could be wores i can be like SOME honda owners and have a civic with a 1.5 and a 3" exahsut/intake and stickers..

next up in mods is a test pipe, then ecu upgrade, basically its gona remap the ecu to take 17psi of boost and compsate for the added air with more fuel and spark.. and then a 255intank than im done with the probe..

I have a stock Gn Turbo, You should be able to take the buick turbine housing off and put your ford one on. My buddy did that to his turbo daytona.

Nope, Diesels do not control airflow to change RPM. They change fuel rate. So there are not butterfly flaps in the air intake for a diesel so there is no coompressor surge.

Well you could put one on but, If you have 200 bucks to waste like that, you can send it my way :icon16:
