Hi
when I brake on snow for example, there's a loud noise and lots of vibration on the brake pedal. It is only when the ABS kicks in, on regular dry pavement it brakes just fine.
Another weird thing is everytime I start the car, after I take of I hear a hummm noise caming from the front end, I can feel it on the floor actualy. I was told that it was normal, was just the ABS system check.
If anyone hasve any suggestions regarding these issues plese reply

Do a search on ABS Pump noise.... the noise in my car and others was from this problem. Below is the thread I found related to this problem that helped solve mine. We just moved the lines slightly and noise is hardly heard now.
Hope this helps!
Gina
This is from the thread:
It is so quiet now, that if I never heard it before, I wouldn't know it was even making any noise at all. (It can barely be heard now.)
To paraphrase the service department:
A noise is normal. It is the ABS initializing. Mine was just much louder than normal and no other car on their lot made this noise. The pump is mounted on four rubber pads to isolate any vibratory noise. After two days in the shop, they isolated the source. A brake line was contacting the pump, causing the buzzing sound when the pump initialized. They repositioned the brake line and the noise is now gone.
Hope this helps!
