the whole dash has to come out, its a horrendous job with a lot of time involved which is a shame as i would love a set of those myself.

Go here.

http://www.ecanfix.com/users/manualcd/gift/3s/3s_dash.pdf

tells you how to take off the dash in steps, i'm sure the gauges are something simple after the dash is off or they might just pull out I don't know, but it shouldn't be complicated. Have fun and let us know how it turns out.

be careful if you are gonna take the air bag out or it could be broken nose time lol. my car dont have an air bag on the passenger side but from memory (which aint that good) even if you do take it out you will have to get the light on the dash reset from the dealer once you have finished.there also may be a procedure before you disconnect the wires to it or as i say it could go off. good luck and let us know.

Hey bud, I knew there was something on stealh316.com and sure enough, voila! http://www.daveblack.net/asp/CenterGaugeRemoval.asp
I hope that helps because you don't have to take apart the entire dash. Save that for replacing your defrosters!

ok i got the gauges in and they look great. i never even had to take the glove box off. just the rpm/speedometer gauges and a/c vent.. but there was little to no room. and took me forever. wel now i am at a problem. i never unhooked the center gauges.. but after i put it all back in and screwed it all in.. the center gauges are not working.. now i felt around the back as best as i could and im sure they are hooked up. (concidering i never disconnected them). does anyone have any ideas that i may have over looked?
