When I went into the dealer, I checked out a few of the trucks. I test drove the I-5 and noticed an odd vibration right away. I drove the I-4 and there was no vibration. I bought the four cylinder. It has proven to be a good truck so far. I did have to bring in the truck @ 293 miles due to it idling very badly and the engine light came on. At first, the dealer stated that they didn't have time to look at it. I asked them if I should just keep driving it and let the warrenty kick in. They got the truck looked at right away. They stated the timing program was out of date? It was a brand new truck. Outside of that, it has been a good truck and it seems to be more powerful now @2300 miles. At first it seemed doggy at about 2000 rpm's. Now I just want to find better rims for it. The stock ones look something reminicent to the 1960's.

I purchased an I-4 on 26 Nov never having heard about the vibration problem. I discovered at 55-60 mph a vibration on the rear drivers side soon after purchase. I took it to the dealer and they say the tires are out of round and that has been a problem for GM. They are getting me new tires. I hope this works, given comments on this forum that the vibration continues after tire replacement. Otherwise, I think the Colorado is a wonderful truck. I had a 2003 Tacoma and think the Colorado has a much better ride and feel. Let's hope they hold up!
