Has anyone had any complaints about the car giving the feeling of a lack of smoothness in ride on highway when exceeding 50 mph. Problem is very noticible only when exceeding the 50 mph. The steering wheel has no vibration whatsoever, so I do not believe it is an allignment problem. It just feels like one , or both of the front tires are not ridding smoothly. I did have the tires balanced and alligned just in case , but it did not have any effect. The car has only 6,000 miles , and the problem was noticed within the first 100 miles. Thank you to anyone who can help.

Sounds like my 2000 Lesabra did when the front struts went bad at around 28K. Hate to think you have a new one with bad struts. Also, the ride on the 15" tires is very different from the ride on the 16". Lastly, these cars seem light to me. Like the back end is going to fly out at any moment and you don't get that plush, soft ride like in previous models. My 95 rode like a caddy!

My suggestion is to go to a delearship and test drive a new one or one like yours and see how it rides. If different from yours then have the service manager take the ride in each car with you. Tell him what ever that difference is, fix it...

Robert,
You might want to go back to Ikathyf's post on 4/21/04 (about 20pages back) where she wrote about control problems on her 2004 LeSabre.

There must have been about 20 posts to it regarding possible causes that you might find interesting.
Good Luck,
Steve

I had one tire that was out of round that did the same thing on my 98. It took me forever to find it. Just a thought.
