I installed greddy evo ex... there is an o2 censor located next to the cat
The wire was not long enough to install the sencor...
So I plugged it... untill I can get the time to mode the wire length
Will this cause any problems??
ECU or performance wise???

Thanks guys!

Huh?

You shouldnt have to mess with any wires, sensors or the cat.

The Greddy Evo is a cat-back setup. You remove everything behind the cat.

the o2 sensor in front of the cat is part of the emissions of the car. if that sensor or the cat itself is removed or tampered with you should get a check engine light and an emissions ECU code. there are ways around this sensor, although i do not recomend it AT ALL!

i see your in cali. i would highly suggest you find a way to plug your secondary o2 sensor back in cause you will fail smog for that. not to mention if you dont rig it or plug it back in your ecu is gonna be seeing some starnge things its not gonna like to much.

do the tree huggers a favor and plug it back in.

From my own experience it is bad to mess with OS. In NZ it is not a requirement to have a Cat Convertor so me and my mate cut it out (it was stuck tight) and welded a stainless steel pipe in instead. While the cat was there hanging by the braided sensor I said to my mate what shall we do with this? And he just lopped it off with the angle grinder.
On the way home at the MCDonalds drive through my car would not rev above 2500rpm, it went into failsafe mode because the comp thought the cat was blocked and I had to pay to have the sensor wires sorted out!! DOH :silly2:
