200hp?

what will need to be done to get the old spec v up to 200 or so hp?
is 200 the upper limit without a turbo or supercharger?

I think with an intake and exhaust/header it may be possible to exceed 190. Nitrous will put you over 200. As for the upper limit, that we will have to see!!!:flash:

Cause not to shed some rain on this but the car dyno's in at 141hp to the wheels,and there's no way that a header,exhaust, and inake is gonna bring you to 190hp....

I personally dynoed mine about two weeks ago. The horsepower to the wheels is about 140-145, torque is 153-155. My results were.... max horsepower to the wheels 144, torque was 155. Soon as I find out how to scan the damn thing I will post it up.:alien:

I am talking flywheel HP. Could be interesting getting 200+ to the pavement. But not impossible!!

You do realize dynos and actual driving performance differ. When your doing a dyno, you car is just sitting there, totally deprived of air. Even with a raised roof, it does not compare to the air flow when driving.:)

Any respected dyno-shop will have high powered fans placed in front of the car to simulate the normal driving experience....
Dynos are very accurate and very respected.
