i know i saw a post about this, it might have been on an ACNA forum... but i was thinking about taking on that project this week/weekend.
i want the bar between the taillights to light up with the other lights, and then go bright when the brakes are on, but NOT flash with a turn signal. the wiring to do this will NOT be a problem for me, so i dont need help on that.
what i DO want is help with mounting the lights... as in, how much am i looking at spending per 3157 socket, etc. also, any ideas on how to mount them? keep in mind i try to NOT cut things apart that cant be put back to stock if i have to do that.
any suggestions/thoughts?

I have considered this also, and have decided the easiest would be to string some of that lighted wire rope stuff that ricers put around the radio and shifter and stuff. Just put more in to increase brightness. The most difficult part will be seperating the lens from the mount.

hmm interesting idea... i still think i will go with brake light bulbs to match the brightness of the brake lights. i agree that the hard part will be getting the lens off. GRR i wish i didnt have to do this stupid cooking thing for tomorrow, i'd be out in the garage now! i just need to bust out a couple pies and deviled eggs and ill be ready lol.
