ZZperformance.com or Grandprixstore.com, and yes my buddy had one and it makes a hell of a dif... best thing i think, is it removes speed limiter. my buddies modded out 99 grand prix GT got up to 170

Once you get the hardware you will be able to register at the cartechpr.com forum and download the program from there. I just started experimenting with it and its deffinetly worth the money.

BS....I dont believe it...its hard enough to get the GTPs up to that speed yet alone a GT

I cant make you believe me GTPCatz :( i was in the car when he did it. The car is no more becuase he crashed it going down the highway pushing 160. Hes allright, dont worry. But it had pretty much every engine mod done to it by our friend who manages ZZperformance. Just because you cant get your car that fast or dont find it possible, doesn't make it bullshit. He was dyno'ed at 485 FWHP. You have to take into account that he had 12-17 grand into his engine alone.... and all the work on his car was done by our friend who runs ZZperformance. Only proof i have is my word....why would i lie about this....its not even my car dude???? o and BTW GTPCatz, when we hit 170, he had 18 Inch Chrome rims on his car as well :)

He was dyno'ed at 485 FWHP.

That is also BS if he has a GT...The highest dynoing GT out there is only at around 250 to the wheels

He also has one of the fastest GTP anywhere. If he says the car is BS, take it to the bank. My GTX an GTP are pretty well done. And one of these days when I make it to St. Louis again, Catz are going to go at it on the closest drag we can find. Think I can get him out of the hole. But I'm going to hold on tight after that.
I just got off the phone with the owner of 3800, he said BS.

Oh don't get me wrong I know catz is right as I have seen lots of his helpfull replies. I just want to see what exactly is this guy claiming! Maybe he has fit a 5L engine in there somehow! LOL

he didn't swap engines, he just had his buddy from ZZperformance, rebuild a supercharger that he salvaged. He even kept the original GT tranny. GTPcatz, the highest rated GT is reated at 250 FWHP, that is wrong. think about that. no offense, but that is rediculous. I can get you the guys name since i haven't talked to him since summer when he took my resonator out on my 98 GT. My friend will know his name but im not gunna call him tonight, cuz i just got off the phone with him like 5 minutes ago and hes studying for finals. I will find out before i go to work tomorrow and post it if you need proof. I can see why you guys would call B.S if were talking about my car. But this is my friends car and he crashed it and broke it in half basically and it doesn't even exist anymore lol. So why would i lie, to try and score points cuz i have a friend who HAD a cool ride????? like i said. He had every mod available....only thing he didn't have was turbo or NOS cuz he didn't drag race it.. it was a street car. And to make my story even less believable i will say that he had two 15 inch subwoofers in the trunk, heavy ass 18inch chrome wheels, and a body kit on it when we did 170. whats so hard to believe, this was a gt, but what seperates a gt from the GTP mostly.... a weak supercharger. which he had a custom rebuilt one thrown on, not a rebuilt eaton. The only thing that was stock GT left on his car was the tranny, which some say the GT tranny is a lil better then the GTP. he had a custom built CAI, built by our friend at ZZperformance, The Other Guys Headers, that custom super charger, cams from ZZperformance(not sure which ones), DHP ECU, SLP loudmouth exhaust, removed ubend and resonator, removed Cat converter replaced with the straight pipe from PFYC, he had aftermarket valve springs for cams. new sway bars, and a bunch of other shit that i can call on and find out if your curious, but im not gunna argue here.. i was in the car when we hit 170. i was wondering if he had the motor rebuilt or did he jus keep the orginal block and internal? what kind of work was done to the heads? what do you mean by cams?

he had racing cam shafts put in, one of the 3 available on ZZperformance. I just got done chatting with him online like 2 minutes ago. No the motor was not rebuilt, the supercharger was rebuilt for prime HP(not a GTP supercharger BTW). He just told me that he had pretty much every major engine mod besides an intercooler and NOS. I asked him if he still had dyno chart and he said it was in the car(you should see pics of it now, flipped it going 150) He said he had a little over 400 HP at the flywheel, so i was wrong about the HP at the wheels, anyone here know about how many HP he had at the front wheels if he had around 400 at the flywheel??? hehe MI, the difference between 485 WHP and 385 WHP is a buttload..thats why every1 here said no way. an understable mistake, those keys are quite close together.

what i dont get is why he didnt just turbo the car, since it was a GT. that with supporting mods can get close to the numbers you're talking about. taking a GTP engine, which is actually designed for a supercharger, and modding the crap out of that, would have also done the trick. oh well...he should probably just pray hes still alive...

if he had 400hp @ the flywheel then he would have about 340fwhp(there's a 15% hp parasitic drain from the drivetrain).

GTs dont have superchargers..the only way to put one on is to swap engines....unless it was a CSC

According to Zooomer (owner of ZZP), Vanessa (Zooomer's Girlfriend), has the highest powered GT out there rated at around 250-300 (Dynoed April 2004 at just under 250, but since has added a few things)...rediculous or not its true
