Hi! I'm new here and I was hoping to get some advice. First of all, is anybody else out there drifting their 350s. If so, do you have any advice on suspension tuning?

Yeah, I guess that counts. Any practice you can get right? I practice in the canyons.

I drift my 350z in some industrial parking lot in Irvine. Or well I practice there. I have been drifting for over 1 year and a half now. My first car was a S2000 which I sold and bought a 2003 350z. I have an Injen intake and exhaust and also Tein Flex kit. For suspension tuning I can't really say much because I'm trying to figure out the best setting still also. O and zexyho, the settings that each driver likes is different. I suggest you go out and find the set that you like the most.

I don't have that much money to go out and try different types. I have to make a decision. So far I am looking at HKS Hipermax II and the JIC-Magic FLT-A2. Tanabe has a set designed specifically for drifting but it is not yet available for the 350z. Hey, I was wondering if you ever entered any of those Drift Days for beginners and intermediates? I went there once but just to watch a couple of my friends because I have not stocked up on tires yet. There was a very nice turbo charged 350 out there with full roll cage and pretty much everything a person would want. Some older caucasion guys toy. Makes me pretty jealous. Anyway, maybe we could meet up at one of those events sometime and discuss techniques. I actually just started about six months ago but in my opinion, I'm catching on pretty quick. The bad thing is that I only use the weight-shift clutch kick technique. I would like to see your techniques.

zexyho the HKS Hipermax II and JIC magic kits are superb. ( well thats what people who has them tell me) I installed tein Flex type on my Z. It is an awsome kit. I used tein on my Z because I used them for my other cars and it was great. Yes I have been to couple of Drift Days with my Z that was held at California Speedway. I would love to see that turbo charged 350Z >.<

I have been practicing my drifting techniques for about one year and a half. The techniques that I most use is, ebrake, clutch kick, feint drifting, and brake drifting. Still not that good...but getting better =)

You sound like you have a lot of experience. The only thing that I use the ebrake for is to save myself from hitting the side when I over-steer. Yeah but maybe I'll see you around!
