check engine light is on
It says cold air temp on intake is causing this. How do I fix this or is it something that is not a real issue?
I also get an intermittant flashing check engin light at times when the car is accelerating. It goes steady if I am easy on the gas.
My catalytic converter has 107000 miles on it and most likely needs to be replaced
but I am not sure and don't really want to just replace parts in search of a check engine light on problem.
My codes are as follows
po113 IAT Sensor 1 Circuit High output
po301 Cyl 1 misfire------------#1 plug is clean -----but #4 is a little glazed
po400 EGR flow malfunction
where do I start with this?
Like I said I don't want to just start replacing parts to fix this stuff...more to the point I don't want to spend money I can not afford to spend , it is to near to XMAS.
Thanks for your help guys

Zogboy:
Just to be sure your IAT sensor is not working properly, put a 3,5k ohm resistance in the IAT connector plug. Light should get off almost instantly. If it does not, wait for the light to shut off, let's say, 15 minutes. If the light stills on, then you should look further.
Hope this helps bro,
MC.

I got the egr valve working , it was plugged along with the passages.
Now my engine is pulsing when I accelerate.
Do any of you know why it is doing this?
Thanks
