It makes absolutely no sense as to why a radio is made without any auxiliary outputs. I have a non bose, non onstar, non satelite radio and I am looking to hookup my IPOD to my deck for good sound but I cant. I am wondering what my options are besides buying a new car, installing new aftermarket head unit or using that dreaded bad sounding FM transmitter thingy.

Can I possibly install a 2004 radio in my 03?? It seems that the trailblazer 02 and 03 are the only cars without aux outputs. So I cannot use the AUX-POD to interface my IPOD with my unit.

According to these websites, I cant use anything unless I replace the head unit.

I am looking to keep the good look and hoping I can use a 2004 unit somehow. Any Ideas??? YOu can post here or email directly [email protected]

Is, you don't just take word of mouth. Call the dealership you dealt with and ask them those questions. Maybe they can install it, etc.

You cannot put a radio from a 2004 Tbz into a 2002/2003, they are different platforms and will not work. The radios are not interchangable from different platforms.

From what I have been told the radio in the 2004 Tbz has been changed and is the same as the Tahoe and other full size trucks, so that is why the aux adapters work for that year.
