Me vs. Teal '93 Cobra

Well, I got my car back recently after the addition of a few more "go fast goodies"...
Anyways, I'm on my way home from the mall when I see some 5.0 headlights in my rearview mirror. So, I kinda slow down to let him catch up. When he finally catches up, he looks over and punches it. I didn't have time to react, so I just sorta let him go. There was a light coming up, so I figured I'd get a chance to smack him around from the light :D Well, he gets in front of me and signals to turn right at the light :mad: Well, I won't get to go off a light, so I'll just follow and run him from a roll :cool: (I guess this would be better for me anyways because I'd never get traction from a stop anyways).
So, he makes the turn with me right behind him. At first, he took off but realized I wasn't going for it yet. I wanted to get side by side with him first! Finally, we get next to each other, going about 45mph and he guns it. I was ready this time and jumped on it right when he did. As soon as I hit it, the tires started spinning like crazy! Even at 45-50mph the Nittos wouldnt hold! I was still starting to pass him despite my tires STILL spinning, and as I got next to him, they finally grabbed! As the tires bit down, I took off....HARD! I pulled like CRAZY ON HIM!
I shut it down with maybe 8-9 cars on him. We pulled up to a light in traffic and he asked what I had done "Just a few boltons and exhaust" I replied. LOL. He said he had headers, h-pipe and Flows....
The night before, I had a race with a Viper GTS with exhaust and a Syclone with a bunch of A-Pillar gauges....The Syclone was an easy kill, the Viper hung with me from a roll, but from a stop I pulled on him.

I dont know about you, but I think a kill story is always interesting to read, regardless of what kind of cars were involved. Sorry if you feel otherwise.
I don't have any new times on the car, but last year, the car went low 12s with bolt ons. Since I've done some motor work, I feel I could run deep into the 11's on motor.

I dont know about you, but I think a kill story is always interesting to read, regardless of what kind of cars were involved. Sorry if you feel otherwise.

But here's basically what I've got done:
Intake - aftermarket airbox lid/filter
Exhaust - Longtube headers, no cats, no muffler
Transmission - Yank 9" 4400 stall converter
Suspension - HAL 12way adjustable shocks/springs (front)
Engine - Ported Heads, Bigger Cam, new retainers, pushrods, valvesprings
Misc - Nitto 555R Drag Radials 275/40ZR17 (now BALD)
