B20B + Type R Head = Good Combo?

I've heard from a few people that this is a very viable combo for an early model 'teg. (92-94 GSR). I wanted to do a good ol' B18C1 swap, but from what I've heard, this combo has incredible low end torque and very very good top end. Anyone heard anything about this setup?

pretty much similar to b20/vtec with b16a head but with better cams. in my opinion, a resleeved/rebored gsr engine is better; the head flows the same(contrary to myth) but since the gsr has a smaller head cc the final compression is higher.
