Front differential spewing fluid

I have a 2002 1500HD crew cab 4x4 and after driving for 30 miles or so the breather hose for the front differential on the inside drivers fender will start to "puke" oil out of it. I took it to my local dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Any ideas?
P.S. this happens when it is running in 2WD.

Sounds like it has too much oil in it. Did you check the oil level by removing the level plug yourself or just leave that up to the dealership? Other than that, man, I don't know.

Just thinking.......check your drain plug after your level plug. Could water have gotten in the front diff causing the oil to rise? Did you just get this truck?

very odd that this is happening to the FRONT diff when in TWO wheel drive. Well, i had that problem with my rear differential because i filled the case on a hill so there was way too much oil, it just spewed out all over the place, proper fill level is just below the filler plug. Still very funny that its doing it on the front.

the parts in the front diff always turn inside. When you put the truck in 4x4, it pushes all the gears together to pull power in from the driveline, but they always spin, just not all pressed together. So heat can build up in there in 2 wheel drive.
I bet there is just too much oil/water/something in there.
You might drain the fluid and make sure there isn't any metal shavings or pieces in there. Then refill it to the correct level.

When I was working at a dealer, there was a TSB for that. I believe you have to re-route the vent tube and put a new vent on the top.

Thanks for all of the input.
I did just get the truck, i havent put more that 200 to 300 miles on it.
I think I will inspect the oil level myself to make sure it is correct.
The local dealer did reroute the vent tube, but it looks like the same vent on top of it.
