I had a problem with my 88 iroc stalling out so i took it to the mechanic and he told me that my problem was a bad fuel pump, i got that fixed but now the car seems to drive even worse then wen i first brought it in. not only that but now wen i push the gas pedal down the car preaty much dies, it works better if i just gently push it down a lil bit but thats it, It wont even go over 30mph. does ne1 hav ne idea wat could b wrong wit it?

sounds like a bad tps. you can check it yourself if you have a voltmeter. with the ignition turned on, probe the center wire on the tps connector. with the throttle closed there should be 1/2 to 1 volt. with the throttle wide open there should be approx. 5 volts, then slowly open and close the throttle. the readings should be a smooth gain in voltage as the throttle is opened, and vise versa as you close the throttle.

could be. check your sparkplugs too, if you were running lean you might have cooked them, and they could need tobe replaced. maybe the O2 sensor as well.
