Airbag Shut-off

Does anyone know if it is possible to shut off or disassemble the passenger side airbag on the 2005 2500HD Crew Cab Silverado? We have a family member who doesn't make the weight and height suggestions for the front seat but they would still need to ride in that seat.

On my '04 the passenger side airbag is not active if the person does not meet the required weight. If they do, you'll see the airbag is active in the rearview mirror.

Can you pull the fuse out for the Passenger side Airbag???
