wow 2.5 baris almost 37 PSI. That is nuts. With that kind of boost on a high flowing 6.0, I would think that they are holding back on the HP and torque numbers a bit.

It's 100% concept.

Ohh comeon, deep down inside I know you saying to yourslef, "Man I wish I had a cool gauge that measured PSI in my car."
It's free entertainment when your driving and have notihing elese to do. Needle goes up, needle goes down, up,down,up,down.....
:bloated:
anyway it is kind of like that concept ford GT 90. Quad turbochargers the areas where the exhaust was around had the same tiles off the space shuttles to protect it from the heat. It was cool how they came up with the engine. Something about cutting one in half and doing some werid welding shit to another block and all sorts of stuff.
Still concept though.

I dont think it was a concept at all.. I think what it was, was a prototype.. As far as I know, they had plans on building about 300 of them a yearI could be wrong though.. either way that thing would be DAMN fast..
as far as I know its an AMG (the new possible McClaren engine) quadturbo V12 Mid-engine design, as in chrysler ME.. car weighs under 3000lbs, believe it or not, which if you figure it out has a power to weight of something like 3.4lbs/bhp.. 7 speed manual transmission.. all sorts of other goodies..
crazy car.. Looks really good too

me and my gf were fighting today over if the engine( a ml65 i think was the name) was a mecerdes(sp) engine. She goes to college for a chrysler program and said chrysler doesnt get any engines from mercedes just money. After i proved i was right about the engine being out of a mercedes she claimed it didnt count cause its a "race car" and she was talking about street legal cars. Is there any reason to believe this wont be street legal?

it isnt a chrylser engine or mercedes engine.. Yet
Its an AMG (mercedes) engine.. it was designed for chrylser for the ME 412.. but mercedes will probably use it in their cars
it didnt "come out" of anything.. but mercedes did design it

I could entirely be wrong, they may have used it before.... But as far as I've heard and read, they started designing the engine for the chrysler..
I found this c&p on a site just now on a chrylser website.. doesnt really say much though..
"The engine is from AMG, with 850 bhp @ 5750 rpm, with 850 lb-ft. (1150 N-m) of torque between 2500 and 4500 rpm on premium unleaded fuel. It was reportedly designed for Chrysler, but will probably be used by Mercedes in other applications (we'd expect it to appear in the Vision and perhaps the McLaren SLR). Use of the AMG engine was dictated largely by the need for high power with light weight (around 500 lb) and at reasonable development cost"
