Keyless entry remote question

I am thinking of buying a keyless entry remote for my 96 GLE maxima from Ebay because mine does not work. Will any of the remotes for the '95-'99 remotes work on my '96? All you have to do is program it right?

they will all work, but you have to go to the dealership to have them programmed

1.Close and lock all doors
2.Insert and remove key more than six times within 10 sec.At the last insertion leave key in ignition.{hazards should flash twice.all remotes stored are now erased}
3.turn key to ignition accy.
4.push the lock button on your remote once.{hazards should flash twice}
5.to program an additional {up to four} remotes, unlock and lock drivers door manually{with knob not elect. switch}
6.push lock button on additional remote.
repeat step 5&6 for each additional remotes
Note: if you open the door at any time during this procedure it will cancel the enabling state.
