Street Racing

[COLOR=darkred][FONT=arial]I hate it when people speed down my street.I do not like people who irresponsibly race a car around neiborhoods or on city streets.But especially evil are the ones who race around residential neiborhoods,looking for some kid to kill.I think if you want to be a race car driver,go to a 1/8 or 1/4 or 1/2 mile track,and keep it off the streets and out of residential areas.I am not saying i am not personaly guilty of racing down the highway at obscene speeds,or getting the jump on some ricer on the expressway on a friday afternoon.I am just saying that when you race around neiborhoods or streets that are -45mph,you are a potential murderer.What if some little future Firebird fanatic age seven drives his night rider big wheel out of his mamas driveway,and right in front of you.?(and yes i had a night rider big wheel as a kid).

Man, it isn't just kids in fast cars either. I see moms and dads with kids in the grocery-getter doing 50 through my development, and they're the same ones who'll have a shit-fit 'cuz my car is a liitle too loud for them at 7 in the morning.

There is a time and place for everything and a residential street is no place to be racing. If anyone is too stupid to relize that they don't deserve a license or a car let alone a firebird/T-A.

I can see where your coming from. We had the same problem until someone came up with the bright idea of speed bumps. Now I have to put up with my suspension bottoming out three or four times in the morning and the same coming home.
