it depends on what you are going for. I guess since you are comparing L5's to Kappas (not the kappa perfects right?) that in SQ they would be the same. The L5's should be louder so I guess my vote would be the L5's. If you were comparing the Perfects to the L5s it would be a toss up. From my experience with the new square solobarics, they are really loud, but the bass is muddy. The Perfects have great SQ, but can't get as loud as the solobarics.

None of those are all that great, Kicker is good if you're all SPL but Infinity isn't the best when it comes to subs.

Kicker is good for SPL. Infinity is good for SQ. It all depends on the amp you are running also. Some amplifiers dont break down well with three subs. Tell us what you plan on running

infinity subwoofer setups are not loud at all. even the cheapest kicker subs should out-perform them. my buddy has an infinity perfect 12" in his truck and the infinity 450RMS amp and it is weak, so i only trust infinity for the highs, nothing else.

I'd go w/ 2 12" kickers because my buddy Scott had those in his car and they were loud enough to rattle his car apart, but they still maintained the clarity of the music. He had a wicked amp and setup to go w/ those subs too. He now has 2 Audiobahn Immortal Series 15" subs run from a 2500rms 5000peak watt amp (i think it's a Phoenix Gold or Rockford Phosgate). He has one sub per amp and a 10 ferrat cap on each. In order to do this, he had to buy a high output alternator and another battery though.

I say spend your money on one great sub and one great amp. I have an Eclipse Titanium 12" and the new Alpine MRV-1005 amp and it pounds like you wouldn't believe, but it also is as clean and punchy as a 8" sub. You don't need more than one sub unless you plan on putting it in an SUV or van. And since your posting in this forum, then I'm guessing you don't have either on of these, but I could be wrong. My vote, buy one JL Audio W7 or Eclipse Titanium, and a nice 900-1300 watt amp. It works out good. Trust me.

It's on top because someone voted in the poll. :)
