I just had some work done on my truck. The shop told me they had to replace my distributor and fuel pump.
I am from the old school. When the fuel pump and distributor when out in years past the truck would not even start. But I drove this one to the shop.
Anybody got any answeres? On how these new trucks run with no fuel or spark?

How about okie doeked.Basic concept, you have fuel you have fire you have an engine running. No fuel no fire no engine run.
Dont feel bad GM okie doeked me for about two years till I finally traded it in.Pistonslap according to them was perfectly normal and would not wear out the engine. Go figure that one out!!!
I might have been born at night but it wasnt last night...

That's kind of what I thought to. I guess it is a good thing I only had to pay $54.00. Thank god for extended warranty.
Thanks
