I drive a formula v8 94 firebird with the 350
Iv had this car for 2 years now and a couple of months ago my car would go herby on me and the car would try to go without me hitting the gas. That only happened a few times. But now whenever I drive my rpms are jumping up and down whenever I drive. The car is jittering back and forth after it warms up. And when I put the car in park my rpms are up in the 3000s. I rented the reader and all I got was a bunch of low voltage codes so I replaced the alternator...that did nothing. Im stumped. Someone help!!!!

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you have a faulty or carbon funked IAC. I would rent the tool and look at TPS reading , IAC count and MAP pressure(bar-map=vacuum). I'm sure you will find your problem but I bet if you took out the IAC and cleaned it with some carb cleaner fluid. Your problem would go away.

What is the IAC count and what didn't work replacing it or cleaning it?. and did you look at the TPS reading's while the idle goes way up?.

IAC count (when at proper idle = 10) but soon as eng warms and revs it flutuates between 130-160

TPS = 8- 70

Map 1.12-1.65

I have cleaned throddle body, repaced map, and tps, pcv's and cleaned mass air flow.... no change in problem. Any other ideas?

Your map looks good, Your TPS is way way way off. you should register 1.2-1.6 at idle and during WOT maybe 5.0 but nothing near what your saying about your IAC count is way off as well and were or how did you clean your IAC(I would replace it) and if your idle problem only takes place after the car warms up. It could be a bad o2 sensor. Something is wrong and I don't think you completely understand what a IAC does.
