i got a Question bout stright pipe

i just ordered a part that replaces the cadalic converter it is some stright pipe that takes the place of my cc. will this make my car extremely loud? or sound like crap?

My opinion is that a straight pipe will give better flow, not as much flow as it would have with 2 1/2" piping...and about the sound, it depends, for example if you have an intake, I think it should sound a little more agressive.:sun:

you will have no back pressure, won't that slow you down. unless you have a SC or turbo, it's not good. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong though.

a (test pipe) straight pipe will make ur car sound like a '88 grandprix.
and unless u have a y-pipe and/or full exhaust it ain't gonna do much.
i have the jwt intake, custom y-pipe, test pipe and 2 1/2 cat-back and it gave me great results on high rpm's. (4,500-6,500) third on the highway feels like ur boostin.
