uhhh, this happened last week...

It was 12:30am or so on a tuesday, and I was just about to hit the sack while the phone rang. I answered the call, but all that came on was a recording. The recording pretty much stated that it was a collect call from a correctional institution. I thought maybe one of my sisters had gotten arrested or something, so I accepted the call.

Some dude came on the phone then with a barely coherent hello that almost made me throw the phone instantly. Ah, curiosity had the best of me even though I knew it would be better just to drop the call.

The caller proceeds to speak, and for some reason I meet his every request. He had told me to get a pen and paper to write down the name and number of this doctor who supposed in his words "Could help me out".

I wrote down the name and number of this doctor. I still do not know why, but I guess out of sheer curiosity I complied with his requests. After asking several times, "What is the call regarding." or, "What is this call about." The man gave me the same reply after every question that I threw at him, "Call that number and you will see. I cannot give you any information."

I am still kinda angry at myself for throwing that number away. ahh! This is not made up. The man called several times later that night, but I declined every call and then left the phone off of the hook. I still want to know what that doctor had to say.

Thats freaky man, your number might be written on the bathroom stall in that institution. Concerned you should be, I think yes!

See if they'll call again, then take the call. Call the doctor. If it's bs, then get a different number.

call the cops and see whats up. If it really is a guy in a correctional institution they'll be able to help you out, seeing as they put him there.

Sounds like a great way to freak some people out, i might try this on my friends. :p

oh, its real. i still have no idea why this happened.

i do not know anyone in prison/jail at the moment. the thing is, the call came from miami florida. i live in tallahassee florida. this just doesn't make any sense. oh well, hope it was entertaining for some.

Hm...screw goin' to Miami then.....actually, I get strange calls from people and the thing is no one knows my number. Hm...w/e
